Aston Martin Vantage S: Where Power Meets Refined British Precision

Published 9 July 2025

Power beyond the numbers

The new Aston Martin Vantage S represents the pinnacle of the British marque’s front-engined sports car expertise. Every element, from its reworked engine and chassis to the handcrafted interior, is honed to deliver not just performance, but an unshakable sense of occasion. At its heart lies a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, producing 680 PS at 6,000 rpm and 800 Nm of torque from 3,000–6,000 rpm. This enables 0–100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph). More than raw figures, the car benefits from retuned throttle mapping, recalibrated driving modes, and an optimized Launch Control system for sharper take-offs. Power is delivered through an 8-speed automatic transmission, engineered for immediate, precise shifts. The result is a sports car that’s as engaging on a winding road as it is commanding on an open straight.

Precision-engineered chassis and dynamics

The Vantage S elevates driving feel beyond statistics. Extensive chassis revisions sharpen steering feedback, agility, and stability at speed. Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers offer greater sensitivity up front, while refined rear spring rates keep the car composed in all conditions. A directly mounted rear subframe enhances mechanical connection, while reduced transmission mount stiffness improves ride quality. Reworked suspension geometry, including camber, toe, and caster settings, makes the car feel instinctively responsive and balanced. Every change reflects a singular aim: to deliver the most communicative and confidence-inspiring Vantage yet.

Aerodynamics with purposeful design

The Vantage S pairs Aston Martin’s timeless elegance with functional aerodynamic gains. New central bonnet vents, in gloss black or carbon fiber, add visual drama while aiding cooling. A subtle yet purposeful full-width rear spoilercontributes 44 kg of downforce at top speed, while underbody changes and a redesigned diffuser bring total downforce to 111 kg with a forward bias for enhanced cornering grip. Red enamel “S” fender badging, 21-inch Y-spoke satin black wheels with red accents, and bronze brake calipers complete the assertive stance. The design remains free of unnecessary aggression, unmistakably Aston Martin, yet clearly evolved.

Crafted interior, confident debut

Inside, the Vantage S blends sport focus with artisanal detail. The standard “Accelerate” interior combines Alcantara, natural leather, and carbon fiber, accented by an anodized driving mode controller in red or silver. Matching stitching, seatbelts, and embroidery carry the chosen color throughout the cabin. Precision-embroidered “S” logos, embossed Aston Martin wings, and unique door sill plaques distinguish the model, while the Inspire Sport package offers additional leather and stitching options for those prioritizing comfort. The Vantage S will debut dynamically at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, tackling the hillclimb ahead of Q4 2025 customer deliveries in both Coupé and Roadster forms. It arrives as one of the most complete sports cars in its class a balance of power, precision, and unmistakable British character.
