A top SUV with more performance
With the new DBX S, Aston Martin is launching the most powerful model in its SUV range – with significantly more dynamics, 727 PS, and lightweight components. The redesigned front with a striking grille and the revised rear makes for a powerful, distinctive look. In the interior, the exclusive “S” line underlines the sporty claim with high-quality materials and individual details. As the latest chapter in the tradition of high-performance “S” badged models (starting with the 1953 DB3S), the DBX S combines cutting-edge technology with characteristic elegance. “The marque continues its focus on class leading performance, ultra-luxury design and innovation, broadening the range of products under each core model. The introduction of DBX S not only reaffirms our commitment to producing the most exciting, rewarding and beautiful cars, it also sends a powerful statement of intent about our ambitions not just for DBX, but for the Aston Martin brand”, said Adrian Hallmark, CEO of Aston Martin, at the launch of the new SUV.

The Aston Martin DBX S is equipped with an upgraded 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 727 PS, an increase of 20 PS over the DBX707. The torque is 900 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.3 s and the sprint to 200 km/h is 0.3 s faster than in the previous model. The top speed remains at 311 km/h. A revised exhaust system ensures a more intense engine sound. The increase in performance is based, among other things, on technology transfers from the Aston Martin Valhalla. The vehicle features a 9-speed wet clutch transmission, which dispenses with a classic torque converter. The all-wheel drive distributes the power variably: up to 100% to the rear axle if required. A four percent faster steering ratio improves responsiveness, and the turning circle has been reduced to 12.0 m. The electronic roll control limits the lateral tilt to a maximum of 1.5 degrees. The chassis offers various modes with active adjustment of suspension and rolling behavior. Ceramic brakes are used for deceleration. Together, all of this makes for a much sleeker driving style, with more stability and greater driving pleasure.

Sporty, elegant lines
The design of the Aston Martin DBX S has been further developed in several ways. The front section features a redesigned black vaned grille or optional honeycomb grille, inspired by the DBS 770 Ultimate. A new splitter, diffuser and modified headlights ensure a more striking look. At the side, functional air splitters direct the airflow in a targeted manner, while carbon elements for mirrors, side strakes, door sills and the rear are available as an option. An enameled “S” emblem in red adorns the front fenders. In terms of color, Aston Martin offers new accents for the lower body section in Rosso Corsa, Trophy Silver and Podium Green. At the rear, the new, vertically stacked quad tailpipes are particularly eye-catching. The sporty and elegant concept continues in the interior. The “S” interior is characterized by a herringbone pattern on the seats and – if the super-light carbon roof is selected – also on the headlining. Alcantara upholstery with leather accents comes as standard, while a full leather upholstery is also available as an option. Red seat belts can be added as an further option. The “S” logo is embroidered into the seats, while the Aston Martin wings on the headrests are highlighted using a combination of embossing and heat treatment. Further “S” markings can be found on the door sills and the engine badge.

Tradition and modernity of the “S”
A special highlight is the optionally available, large carbon roof, as mentioned. Almost three meters square, it is the largest ever installed in an Aston Martin. It not only impresses with its high-quality single weave look, but together with the elimination of the roof rails, it saves a whole 18 kg. This makes a targeted contribution to lowering the center of gravity, thereby improving stability and agility. The optional, extremely lightweight 23-inch magnesium wheels, which further sharpen the driving dynamics, are also a perfect match. In terms of technology, the DBX S is equipped with the latest infotainment system developed in-house. Sound is provided as standard by an 800-watt premium audio system with 14 speakers. A 1,600-watt system from Bowers & Wilkins is available as an option, which provides a particularly detailed listening experience with 23 speakers, 3D sound and high-quality components such as the Aluminum Double Dome tweeters. With the DBX S, Aston Martin is continuing a long-standing tradition of particularly sporty model variants: Since the legendary DB3S from 1953, the “S” at Aston Martin has stood for increased performance, reduced weight, and a closer proximity to racing. This claim is also reflected in the new SUV flagship. The DBX S is available to order now, with deliveries starting in the fourth quarter of 2025.
