More comfort and sharper lines

With the new A6 Sedan, Audi is revamping one of its central model series in the upper mid-size class and repositioning it in terms of both design and technology. The focus is set on a clearly structured design that combines elegance and functionality. Reduced lines, a flowing silhouette, and the brand’s typical details provide a modern and high-quality appearance. Optimized aerodynamics (with a drag coefficient of 0.23) and the new hybrid engine guarantee greater efficiency, improved ride comfort, and enhanced performance. With this realignment, Audi wants to emphasize its claim to future-oriented design and strengthen the position of the A6 Sedan as a comfortable business class in the premium segment. At market launch, three engine variants will be available: two petrol and one diesel. Two of these variants are equipped with MHEV plus mild hybrid technology and therefore partially electrified. The electric system consists of three main components: a 48-volt lithium-ion battery, a belt alternator starter and a powertrain generator with integrated power electronics, which not only ensures impressive recuperation of up to 25 kW but also provides an additional boost of up to 18 kW when starting off and overtaking. This noticeably increases driving dynamics and comfort, while significantly reducing CO2 emissions. Purely electric parking and maneuvering is also possible.

Three suspension options are available – the standard suspension for maximum comfort, the sports suspension for dynamic handling and the adaptive air suspension for perfect balance – allowing the sedan to adapt to any desired driving style. If you opt for the adaptive air suspension, you get both more ride comfort and sportiness. In addition, various modes can be selected via Audi drive select to enhance optimum driving pleasure depending on the route and road conditions. The “dynamic” mode ensures firmer handling, while the “comfort” mode turns long journeys into a relaxed travel experience. And in “efficiency” mode, the vehicle automatically lowers the body at high speeds to minimize drag. The optional all-wheel steering of the quattro models further refines the handling: it improves maneuverability at low speeds and provides outstanding precision at higher speeds. The sport differential (available on the 3.0 TFSI variant) actively distributes the torque between the rear wheels, guaranteeing optimum driving stability in every situation.

Sustainability, luxury, and the latest technology

The new Audi A6 Sedan offers a luxurious interior that leaves nothing to be desired. The interior materials focus on sustainability and luxury. High-quality fabrics such as Kaskade and Dinamica as well as European wood are combined to create a stylish and environmentally conscious interior. The panoramic roof with digital shading system floods the room with natural light and can be electrically dimmed as required to adjust the driving experience to suit the mood. The optional Bang & Olufsen sound system with 20 speakers and integrated headrest speakers makes for an exceptional sound experience, filling the car with crystal-clear sound. Maximum comfort is added by the optional four-zone automatic air conditioning system, which enables individual climate control for the driver, front passenger and rear seat passengers. The package is complemented by the air quality package, which ensures a pleasant and fresh indoor climate. The ultra-modern MMI panoramic display with an impressive screen size of 14.5 inches (touchscreen) and 11.9 inches (cockpit) underlines intuitive control and brilliant display of all functions. A 10.9-inch passenger display is available as an option, which actively integrates the passenger into the digital experience. The optional head-up display, which projects important information directly into the driver's field of vision, highlights an even more comfortable driving adventure.
