It was in the vibrant city of Miami that Ferrari unveiled its 12Cilindri model, a tribute to the sacred car of the brand with the prancing horse. "There is one thing that excites fans of the Prancing Horse more than anything else: the V12 – the engine used in Ferrari Gran Turismo cars since 1947. Following last year's presentation of the Ferrari Roma Spider at the captivating El Badi Palace in Marrakech, Miami was chosen to host the debut of the Ferrari 12Cilindri. From its name, the new mid-engine car from the Prancing Horse pays homage to Ferrari's legendary engine." This new creation of the Italian brand once again places emphasis on the power of the engine, which reaches 830 horsepower with a maximum regime of 9,500 revolutions per minute. Equipped with the latest technologies, the new car is characterized by an aerospace-inspired design, serving its aerodynamics, an 8-speed DCT gearbox, and four independent steering wheels. Derived from the iconic engine, this model includes modifications made to the Ferrari 812 Competizione, such as the sliding finger for a more efficient valve lift profile. Reduced weight and inertia serve speed, while the sound of the Ferrari is the focus of all the technical teams' attention, offering unparalleled sensations, "The intake system, equipped with variable geometry intake paths and a redesigned plenum, harmonizes high frequencies with the low tones emitted by the exhaust manifold, providing occupants with a symphony that claims the distinctive timbre of Maranello's V12 engines. And now, the driving experience can be elevated even further: the sound of the V12 engine can be enjoyed in open-top driving on the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider," added Andrea Carrato.
