For committed Ferrari clients
Ferrari presents a special model: the 296 Speciale with the exclusive Piloti Ferrari configuration, unveiled on the eve of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2025. This strictly limited edition, part of the Tailor Made program, is reserved for Ferrari clients who actively participate in official motorsport activities. With this special version, Ferrari not only highlights its success in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) but also honors the dedication of its client racing drivers who make a significant contribution to the brand’s racing DNA. Inspired by the Le Mans-winning Ferrari 499P, which dominated the Hypercar category in 2023 and 2024, this 296 Speciale combines technical sophistication with Ferrari’s racing tradition. The Ferrari 499P is a hybrid Hypercar with a carbon monocoque and double wishbone suspension. After a 50-year hiatus, it marked Ferrari’s return to the top class of the FIA WEC in 2023. With a total output of 680 PS, all-wheel drive activated from 190 km/h, and aerodynamics optimized for all types of circuits, the 499P won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023 and 2024 with starting numbers #51 and #50, competing for the Ferrari AF Corse team.

Number 51
The exterior design of the 296 Speciale in the Piloti Ferrari configuration draws inspiration from the 499P, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023 and 2024. The livery includes a hand-painted WEC logo, an Italian flag on the front bumper, and a freely selectable race number. The model unveiled at Le Mans featured number 51, a reference to the victory of Pier Guidi, Calado, and Giovinazzi in 2023. Clients can choose from four color options: Rosso Scuderia, Blu Tour De France, Nero Daytona, and Argento Nürburgring, accented with Giallo Modena. The interior is purposefully designed for track use, with materials selected for their functional relevance to racing. The seats are trimmed in black thermo-formed Alcantara, featuring inserts made from the same fire-resistant fabric used in official driver suits. The car’s individual race number is also featured on the carbon interior trim. Additional details include customizable metal footrests, a carbon identification plaque, and carbon-fiber door sills that can be personalized with a bespoke inscription. The Ferrari Tailor Made program offers clients the opportunity to customize every aspect of their vehicle. Guided by a personal designer, the entire process from material selection to final specification is tailored to the client’s vision. The program is built around the three core design themes Classica, Inedita, and Scuderia, each reflecting distinct stylistic layouts and material choices. The aim is to create a configuration that embodies the client’s individual taste and personality, while maintaining Ferrari’s exacting standards of design and quality.

The Hypercar 296 Speciale
The 296 Speciale is based on the 296 GTB and represents its high-performance evolution. The plug-in hybrid powertrain combines a 120-degree V6 twin-turbo petrol engine with an electric motor, delivering a total system output of 880 cv. The drivetrain incorporates components derived from Formula 1, specifically engineered to reduce weight and improve thermal performance. The 8-speed dual-clutch transmission has been recalibrated with the Fast Shift strategy to enable quicker gear changes and enhance electric torque delivery. Compared to the base model, the car is lighter and generates 20% more aerodynamic downforce. A newly developed software feature, 'Extra Boost', provides maximum power during high-load performance laps. The chassis has been reworked for improved precision on the track. Technical highlights include gamma wings, floating splitters, and an enlarged diffuser, all contributing to improved aerodynamic efficiency and a distinctly motorsport-inspired appearance.
