A vision that awakens the spirit of adventure
Genesis presents its first adventure vehicle concept, the X Gran Equator Concept – a visionary study that was unveiled to the public in New York in April 2025. This model embodies the brand's new direction and combines the characteristic “Athletic Elegance” with the rugged spirit of overlanding. The concept vehicle was developed for modern explorers and is aimed at all those who appreciate both the tranquility of nature and the excitement of unknown paths. The name “X Gran Equator Concept” is a tribute to the Arabian horse “Equator” which is considered the epitome of endurance, agility, and noble strength. These qualities are reflected in the character of the vehicle: an off-road car that combines elegance and performance under extreme conditions in equal measures. With the X Gran Equator, Genesis provides an impressive preview of the future design direction in the lifestyle segment. Even though the model has not yet been confirmed for series production, it shows how the brand is prepared to position itself at the forefront of innovation and versatility. Interested clients can experience the concept vehicle up close at Genesis House in New York's Meatpacking District until the end of July 2025.

Ideal for longer adventure trips
The exterior design of the Genesis X Gran Equator Concept is characterized by a reductive approach that focuses on clean lines and smooth surfaces to convey a modern expression of elegance and functionality. The long front end, the slim cabin and the dynamically shaped C-pillar provide a striking yet delicate silhouette that clearly stands out from the otherwise familiar, classic SUV shapes. T he necessary off-road character is highlighted by 24-inch beadlock wheels and dark wheel-arch claddings which signal robustness and a thirst for adventure. Geometrically designed auxiliary lamps and the iconic two-line headlights from Genesis blend harmoniously into the futuristic appearance. The design is completed by integrated roof rails and a split-opening tailgate that meets both aesthetic and practical requirements.

The interior of the Genesis X Gran Equator Concept blends analog architecture with modern digital technology, creating a compelling dialogue between heritage and progress. The center console features a four-circle display cluster whose design is inspired by classic dials from vintage cameras and ensures intuitive operation. The dashboard features a clean, linear design, intentionally free of decorative elements to keep the focus entirely on the driving experience. The modern character of the interior is branded by contrasting colors and shapes, with a strong emphasis on geometric design. Additional flexibility is provided by swivel front seats and modular storage space solutions that adapt the interior to a wide range of requirements and travel conditions.
