The Huracán STJ: 10 units to celebrate Lamborghini’s V10 engine

Published 11 April 2024

This year, Lamborghini is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its hallmark V10 engine. To commemorate this decade, Lamborghini has unveiled a limited-edition car produced in ten units: the Huracán STJ. The V10 engine is synonymous with the iconic Lamborghini brand and has been the driving force behind the success of the Huracán models for the last ten years. To mark this decade, the Italian sports car manufacturer has gone all out, designing a new model inspired by the Huracán STO and limited to ten units: the Huracán STJ. The acronym stands for ‘Super Trofeo Jota’.

Super Trofeo is a tribute to the Lamborghini one-make championship created in 2009, while Jota is a reference to Appendix J of the FIA regulations, which sets the technical standards for racing cars. This is a clear nod to the brand’s strong desire to create a racing vehicle of exceptional performance. Indeed, this limited edition is distinguished by an extensive refinement of the vehicle’s aerodynamics. Leveraging the expertise acquired over the last ten years, the Italian brand’s designers and technicians have conceived a car even further engineered towards speed. One of the unique features of this rare model is the ‘cofango’: two carbon-fibre aerodynamic components complemented by a 3° increase in the angle of the rear wing. Among the other special elements of the Huracán STJ, a set of four-way adjustable shock absorbers makes it possible to fine-tune the driving experience to suit the terrain.

With around 650 bhp under the bonnet, the supercar’s aggressive power is reflected in the two available liveries. The first mixes red, white and black elements, while the second combines these same colours with bodywork in Eliadi blue, to give an even more unique look to this highly exclusive model.
