Classic combustion engine or trendy electric version
The new Maserati GranCabrio is the open-top counterpart to the GranTurismo and embodies the perfect symbiosis of luxury, sporty performance and Italian elegance. Like its closed twin, the GranCabrio combines the typical high-performance features of a sports car with the comfort of a touring car – ideal for long journeys in style. With four full-size seats, it offers enough space and comfort to enjoy the pleasure of driving together. Designed for the ultimate open-air experience, the GranCabrio invites you to rediscover the road. The new, 100% Made in Italy Maserati GranCabrio offers two ultra-modern drive variants in the three versions GranCabrio, GranCabrio Trofeo and GranCabrio Folgore – perfectly tailored to different driving styles and needs. For lovers of classic sports car technology, the GranCabrio Trofeo is available with the powerful 3.0-liter V6 “Nettuno” twin-turbo engine. With up to 542 hp and a maximum torque of 650 Nm, the convertible sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 s – accompanied by the characteristic sound of the flap exhaust, which brings the distinctive Maserati sound experience to life. Power is transmitted via a precise 8-speed automatic transmission for the all-wheel drive, which ensures optimum traction and driving stability. For excellent handling, there is also an adaptive air suspension and optional high-performance Brembo breaks as well as a Launch Control function for maximum acceleration from start. For future-oriented drivers, Maserati presents the all-electric version – the GranCabrio Folgore. Three electric motors (one at the front, two at the rear) deliver an impressive 761 hp (560 kW) and an above-average torque of over 1,350 Nm, enabling acceleration in just 2.8 s. The all-wheel drive with torque vectoring ensures precision and superior driving. The 800V battery technology enables very fast charging – up to 100 km range in just a few minutes – with a total capacity of approx. 92.5 kWh. Thanks to the recuperation system, energy is recovered during braking. Maserati also remains true to its acoustic line with this model: a specially developed sound design imitates the iconic engine sound in an innovative way. The driving experience is complemented by rear-wheel steering, which increases agility in bends and stability at high speeds.

Maserati's typical design language
The Maserati GranCabrio models tell a story of movement, freedom and Italian style. The lines appear as if drawn by the wind: clear, flowing, powerful. The striking front grille with the trident logo remains true to the character of the brand. The sharply drawn LED lights are reminiscent of iconic Maserati models from past decades. The fabric soft top, available in both subtle and expressive colors, blends in with the design language and gives the vehicle an elegant appearance even when open. The materials used, such as aluminum, create a feeling of lightness. Details in black or chrome set subtle accents (depending on the configuration) for a clear, self-confident layout. The interior of the GranCabrio series acts as a retreat. Fine leather, matt aluminum, fine wood on request or customizable interior options for color combinations and decorative elements. The seats are ergonomically shaped and can be adjusted electrically. Depending on the equipment, they offer seat heating, neck warming, and ventilation. The controls are clearly structured and the digital cockpit is clearly laid out. A large touch display and a freely configurable digital instrument cluster are located in the center, bringing important information directly into view. The interior conveys the brand's typical attention to detail and a tangible claim to Italian craftsmanship.

Technical extras for a modern all-round experience
A high-quality premium sound system from Sonus faber, which has been specially tuned to the acoustics of the interior, provides the right sound. Regardless of whether you drive with the top down or up, the sound remains clear, immersive and precise, which is ideal for long journeys and intense listening experiences. The GranCabrio also relies on modern technology when it comes to safety. Numerous assistance systems support the driver in various situations: Thanks to the Adaptive Cruise Control the vehicle automatically keeps its distance from the one in front, the Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Change Warning as well as the Emergency Brake Assist (which also detects pedestrians) are featured. A 360-degree camera also offers all-round visibility when parking or maneuvering. The Maserati GranCabrio Trofeo is available in six standard colors: Bianco Astro, Nero Assoluto, Blu Modena, Green Metallic, Grigio Incognito and Grigio Maratea Matte. In addition, the Maserati Fuoriserie customization program offers a choice of 26 special paint finishes as well as the option of customizing the vehicle with exclusive materials – from a variety of exterior and interior colors to different wheel designs and color-coordinated brake callipers. There is also a choice of materials for the interior: from classic leather and carbon to elegant wood inlays. Limited special editions of the GranCabrio, which feature exclusive equipment details and unique design features, provide special accents. These editions are aimed at enthusiasts who are looking for a unique look and want to score points with a clear Maserati identity and a high recognition value.

A long history of open-top elegance
Maserati's tradition of open-top models dates back to the early 1930s, when the 4CS and 8CM racing cars were converted for road use, marking the beginning of a true success story. Since then, the so-called ‘Spyders’ have stood for an unparalleled combination of driving experience, luxury, and the direct feeling of the road. In the 1950s, the 3500 GT and later the 3500 GT Spyder laid the foundations for Maserati's reputation as a manufacturer of elegant, high-performance convertibles. This was followed by famous models such as the Mistral, Ghibli Spyder, and the Biturbo Spyder in the 1980s. From the 2000s, under the influence of Ferrari, Maserati returned to open-top design with the 4200 GT Spyder and, more recently, the GranCabrio. The current 2025 model successfully continues this history.
