La Dolce Vita in blue
To mark the 40th anniversary of Porsche Italia, German engineering meets Italian luxury fashion. In an exclusive collaboration with the renowned heritage brand Salvatore Ferragamo, Porsche is unveiling two strictly limited special editions: the 911 Carrera 4 GTS and the Taycan 4S. Developed in close cooperation with the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and the Ferragamo design team, these unique models are rooted in shared values such as craftsmanship, timeless design, exceptional quality, and refined aesthetics. The result features two vehicles that impress not only with technical excellence but also with a new dimension of elegance, inspired by Ferragamo’s iconic style and Porsche’s purist design philosophy. These true collector’s items are reserved exclusively for the Italian market. “Our dream was to create something truly unique that embodies the spirit that has guided us for the past 40 years: Porsche style combined with Italian culture and aesthetics. That's why we chose Ferragamo as a partner for this project – a brand with which we share values such as excellence of craftsmanship, timeless elegance and a tireless attention to detail,” explained Pietro Innocenti, CEO of Porsche Italia. Founded in 1985 in Padua, Porsche Italia has established itself as a key player in the European sports car market. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Porsche AG since 1996, the brand stands for engineering precision, performance, and unmistakable design. Salvatore Ferragamo, founded in 1927, is one of the world’s leading luxury brands, renowned for handcrafted fashion and accessories defined by an unmistakable “Made in Italy” signature style.

Refined designer details
The special edition features an exclusive exterior and interior finish in “Blusogno”, a custom-developed anniversary Blue inspired by past Ferragamo collections. Discreet white fine lines on the front bonnet and rear spoiler reflect Ferragamo’s design language and emphasize the cars’ aerodynamic contours. “When Porsche asked Ferragamo to contribute to this anniversary, the main idea was to change as little as possible and focus on refined details. Because Porsche is already perfect,” declared Leonardo Ferragamo, Chairman of Salvatore Ferragamo. Another highlight is the commemorative plaque integrated into the B-pillars. Subtly raised, it features the number “40”, the years “1985–2025”, as well as the inscriptions “Porsche” and “Italia”, symbolizing an elegant tribute to four decades of Porsche Italia. The wheels are also finished in Blusogno and accentuated by hand-painted white pinstripes, underscoring the cars’ dynamic presence. The hub cover is also finished in Blusogno and contrast strikingly with the red Porsche crest. A hand-painted rear model lettering in white with Blusogno outline completes the exclusive look.

Simply Bellissimo
The interiors of the anniversary models showcase exceptional materials and meticulous craftsmanship. Leather and yarn were custom-made in Blusogno color specifically for this project. The distinctive leather covers the seats, GT sports steering wheel, center console, gear lever of the 911, as well as the document folder and key pouch. Light piping in Modern Pebble Grey on the seats and a matching marking on the steering wheel provide subtle contrast, echoing the bright accents of the exterior. A particularly striking detail is the use of Paldao wood, dyed in Blusogno for the first time in a Porsche. In the 911, it appears on the dashboard and center console, while in the Taycan it is featured on the doors. The big door panels of both models are designed in a two-tone layout with the upper section in Blusogno and the lower section in classic black. Exclusive emblems and logos emphasize the distinctive character of this edition. The “40 Anni Porsche Italia” logo is located on the passenger side of the dashboard in the 911 and on a plaque in the center console of the Taycan. The door sills, made of brushed black aluminum, are adorned with an illuminated white Ferragamo logo. Another defining feature is the Sport Chrono clock with a dial that echoes the colors of the Italian flag through subtle rings, paired with a red second hand. Even the vehicle key reflects the attention to detail: its side parts are painted in Blusogno, seamlessly continuing the car’s color theme. The special edition is completed by a tailor-made indoor car cover in Blusogno, finished with white piping. The front displays the Porsche crest, while the sides are marked by a white Ferragamo logo as a stylish reminder of the exceptional partnership behind this creation.
