Luxury sedans with powerful engines
Porsche is adding two new top-of-the-range models to the Panamera series: the Turbo S E-Hybrid and the GTS. Both vehicles have been developed with a focus on high driving dynamics, technical precision, and suitability for everyday use. The highlight is the revised 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, which not only delivers more power, but also meets the requirements of the Euro 7 emissions standard. In combination with the newly designed 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, which is designed for higher thermal load capacity and increased efficiency, both models offer a balanced combination of performance and technical development. In doing so, they set different priorities but follow a common standard of quality and functionality. As a sports sedan, the Panamera GTS is designed for a dynamic driving style and offers a particularly direct driving experience. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is the most powerful and fastest model in the series and combines high performance with a high level of comfort. On the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, it set a new lap record in the hybrid and combustion-powered luxury sedan class as a production vehicle when driver Lars Kern set a lap time of 7:24.172 min in July 2024 before the market launch. With this new time, Lars Kern beat his record in the Panamera Turbo S from 2020 by 5.64 s!

The fast newcomer: the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid
It marks a high point in Porsche's model history: with a system output of 575 kW (782 PS), the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is the most powerful series-produced Panamera to date. The combination of a revised 4.0-liter V8 biturbo with 441 kW (600 PS) and a 140 kW (190 PS) electric motor results in a maximum system torque of 1,000 Nm. The sedan sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 s, with a top speed of 325 km/h (an improvement of 25 km/h and 0.5 s in acceleration compared to its predecessor). Efficient power transmission is ensured by the newly designed 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK), which has been further optimized in terms of robustness and efficiency and is also suitable for the lively hybrid. The purely electric range has been increased by around 45% thanks to a new high-voltage battery with 25.9 kWh (gross) and is now up to 88 kilometers (WLTP EAER City). The charging time with an 11 kW AC charger is around 2 hours and 39 minutes for 100%, the maximum recuperation power is 88 kW. The chassis includes electrically controlled dampers with active hydraulics to compensate for pitching and rolling movements, rear axle steering and the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) with brake discs measuring 440 mm at the front and 380 mm at the rear. Visually, the model is distinguished by independent front and rear sections, chrome-plated tailpipes in Dark Bronze, and exclusive design elements in the Turbonit shade of gray. 21-inch Turbo S centre-lock wheels and a Race-Tex interior with color-coordinated accents underline the sporty character. In Switzerland, an extensive range of standard equipment is included: soft-close doors, Adaptive cruise control, parking assistant with 3D Surround View, Lane Change Assist, air quality system, sound and heat insulation glazing, and the HomeLink garage opener.

Very direct: the new Panamera GTS
The new Panamera GranTourismoSport presents itself as a particularly active driving model within the range and combines precise driving dynamics with a distinctly sporty appearance. Its revised V8 engine delivers 368 kW (500 PS) – an increase of 20 PS compared to its predecessor – and enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 s. The top speed is 302 km/h. A particularly characteristic feature of the four-door variant is the smooth power build-up up to high engine speeds. The sports-tuned suspension includes a lowering by ten millimeters, reinforced anti-roll bars, an electronically controlled differential lock (PTV Plus) and the adaptive PASM air suspension. These components contribute to precise and controlled handling, even under dynamic conditions. The GTS can be recognized by black letterings on the flanks and rear, a specific front design, darkened HD Matrix LED headlights, and a sports exhaust system with tailpipes in Dark Bronze (and matching sound). In addition, the Sport Package with elements in satin-matt Black comes as standard. The 21-inch Turbo S centre-lock wheels in Anthracite Gray underline the car's active driving style. The interior is dominated by elements in Race-Tex on the roof lining and sports seats. Two exclusive GTS packages in Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo set color accents, optionally supplemented by an interior package in Carbon matt. The equipment is rounded off with the BOSE sound system and the Sport Chrono package with stopwatch and push-to-pass function. The standard equipment in Switzerland includes HD Matrix LED headlights, soft-close doors, rear axle steering, Adaptive cruise control, Lane Change Assist, heated rear seats, and an air quality system.

Optional equipment and the Porsche Swiss Package
For the Panamera Turbo and Turbo S E-Hybrid models, the Carbon Aerokit in combination with specific track tires is available as an option. The package includes components specifically tailored to aerodynamics, such as airblades, side skirts, a carbon rear diffuser and a Gurney flap as well as a spoiler lip. These elements reduce lift at 200 km/h by up to 60 kg and thus contribute to more stable handling, especially in fast bends. The Aerokit is complemented by high-performance Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, mounted with dimensions 275/35 ZR 21 on the front axle and 325/30 ZR 21 on the rear axle. They are specially designed for high lateral acceleration and precise steering behavior. Both models also benefit from the new Porsche Driver Experience control concept, which puts central functions directly at the driver's fingertips. Other features include the powerful HD Matrix LED lighting system with extended range, improved connectivity options such as Apple CarPlay and passenger video streaming, as well as a remote parking function controlled via a smartphone app. In Switzerland, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid starts at CHF 281'300, the Panamera GTS at CHF 203'300. The long-wheelbase version Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Executive also offers market-specific comfort features and starts at a price of CHF 295'100. All models mentioned benefit from the Porsche Swiss Package with extended standard options as well as a warranty and assistance service of 2 + 2 years in each case. A currency compensation premium completes the offer.
