Celebrating 75 Years of Porsche in Australia
To celebrate 75 years of presence in Australia, Porsche has unveiled four specially configured vehicles that pay tribute to the country’s diverse natural landscapes. Presented during the prestigious Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, the commemorative models were developed by Porsche Cars Australia and showcase the extensive personalization capabilities of Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur and Sonderwunsch programs. Each car reflects a different geographic region of the continent – North, East, South and West – translating Australia’s natural beauty into distinctive design details and carefully curated color palettes. According to CEO and Managing Director Daniel Schmollinger, the four vehicles symbolize both the legacy and future of Porsche in Australia. By blending iconic Porsche design language with elements inspired by regional landscapes, culture and lifestyle, the brand created a series that celebrates its long-standing connection with the country. From lush tropical rainforests to rugged coastal cliffs and vast desert plains, the models transform Australia’s diverse environments into automotive expressions of place and identity. Importantly, these designs are not limited to concept form: Porsche notes that customers can recreate similar specifications through the brand’s online configurator, demonstrating the flexibility of its bespoke personalization programs.

North and East: Tropical Forests and Surf Coastlines
The northern region of Australia inspired the special configuration of the Porsche Panamera 4 E‑Hybrid. Finished in a vibrant Paint to Sample Emerald Green Metallic, the sports sedan reflects the deep-green tones of the tropical rainforests found in Queensland and the Northern Territory. Its design specifically references the lush vegetation of iconic natural locations such as Daintree Rainforest and Kakadu National Park. Complementing the exterior are 21-inch Panamera Exclusive Design wheels finished in Neodyme, reminiscent of the Daintree’s distinctive fan palms. Inside, a Club Leather interior in Espresso echoes the rich earth tones of the tropical landscape. The vehicle is further equipped with a 480-litre Porsche roof box capable of carrying up to 75 kilograms, reinforcing its role as an adventure-ready grand tourer designed for long journeys through Australia’s wild northern terrain. Representing Australia’s eastern coastline is the Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, a model that captures the essence of the country’s surf culture. Finished in Paint to Sample Ipanema Blue Metallic, the electric Cross Utility Vehicle appears almost as though it has just emerged from the ocean. The color palette celebrates the vibrant waters of the Pacific and the lifestyle associated with Australia’s famous beaches. Its 21-inch Taycan Exclusive Design wheels with Crayon aero blades reference marine life and coral formations beneath the waves, while the two-tone Black and Crayon leather interior mirrors the contrast between warm beach sand and coastal shade. Speed Blue interior accents evoke the refreshing coolness of the Pacific Ocean, highlighting the strong connection between the vehicle’s design and the coastal environment that has shaped Australia’s globally recognized surf culture.

South: Rugged Coastlines and Dramatic Cliffs
Australia’s southern coastlines provided the inspiration for the bespoke configuration of the Porsche Macan 4S. Characterized by dramatic cliffs, rocky shores and striking geological formations, this region influenced the vehicle’s bold and earthy color palette. The exterior is finished in Paint to Sample Gold Bronze Metallic, reflecting the warm tones found along the rugged coastlines stretching across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. The SUV rides on 22-inch RS Spyder Design wheels finished in Vesuvius Grey, a color chosen to mirror the distinctive dolerite sea columns rising from the waters around the Tasman Peninsula. Inside the cabin, the design team continued the coastal theme by referencing the famous Limestone Coast region. The interior features an Extended Leather Package in Black and Chalk, complemented by Chalk Beige seat belts and a matching compass display within the Sport Chrono instrument dial. These subtle tones create a visual connection to the pale limestone cliffs and coastal rock formations found in the region. Adding contrast, orange seat centers and decorative stitching recall the vibrant colors of coastal rocks and weathered formations that define the southern shoreline. The result is a compact luxury SUV whose aesthetic captures the raw beauty and geological drama of Australia’s southern edge.

West: The Vast and Ancient Outback
Completing the quartet is the Porsche Cayenne S, inspired by the immense landscapes of Western Australia’s Outback. This region, known for its vast plains and some of the world’s oldest geological formations, influenced the SUV’s earthy and powerful aesthetic. The exterior is finished in Paint to Sample Ipanema Brown, reflecting the colors of the ancient terrain that spans millions of square kilometers across Western Australia. The vehicle’s 22-inch Exclusive Design Sport wheels in Black silk-gloss echo the dramatic dark streaks visible on the iconic rock formation Wave Rock. To reinforce its adventurous character, the Cayenne is equipped with Porsche’s Off-Road package, providing additional protection and capability for exploring the rugged Outback environment. The interior continues the theme by incorporating the deep red tones commonly associated with Australia’s desert landscapes. Bordeaux Red seat centers and interior highlights mirror the color of the iron-rich soil that defines much of the Outback. Meanwhile, a Mojave Beige compass display draws inspiration from the pale sands of the famous Cable Beach. Together, these carefully chosen details create a cohesive design that reflects the powerful natural identity of Western Australia. As a result, the Cayenne S stands as a fitting tribute to the country’s vast western frontier, completing Porsche’s four-car celebration of its 75-year journey in Australia.
