Bentley Bentayga Artenara Edition: A New Summit of Contemporary Luxury

Published 9 March 2026

Inspired by a Mountain Peak

With the introduction of the Bentley Bentayga Artenara Edition, Bentley Motors elevates its flagship SUV to a new level of curated craftsmanship and design expression. The Artenara Edition celebrates the most distinctive design elements of the Bentayga while introducing a series of carefully considered details that highlight the brand’s mastery of luxury personalization. Available in both Standard Wheelbase and Extended Wheelbase configurations, the edition can be specified with Bentley’s twin-turbocharged V8 engine or, in the standard wheelbase version, with a V6 hybrid powertrain. The model follows the design philosophy established by the Bentayga Atelier, yet pushes the concept further with richer materials, distinctive motifs and a deeper sense of visual cohesion. Its name draws inspiration from the mountain village of Artenara, the highest settlement on the island of Gran Canaria. Nearby stands the dramatic rock formation Roque Bentayga, the very geological landmark that originally inspired the Bentayga name itself. This connection between landscape and design forms the conceptual backbone of the new edition.

Distinctive Mulliner Craftsmanship

Visually, the Bentayga Artenara Edition introduces a series of unique design elements that blend traditional Bentley elegance with contemporary detailing. Many sought-after Mulliner features are included as standard, such as the signature double diamond grille and 22-inch Mulliner wheels finished in grey with polished pockets. These elements lend the vehicle a strong visual presence while maintaining the refined aesthetic expected from a Bentley flagship SUV. Body-coloured lower brightware – applied to the lower door panels, front bumper and rear bumper – creates a particularly clean and modern side profile. Customers can choose from eight curated exterior colours, each paired with harmonised interior combinations developed by Bentley’s in-house design team. Optional specifications further enhance the car’s character: the Bright Chrome Specification offers classic luxury with polished trim elements, while the Blackline Specification introduces a darker, sportier appearance with gloss-black exterior accents, a gloss-black skid plate and a distinctive double diamond grille with dark chrome pockets. Wheel choices extend beyond the standard 22-inch Mulliner design, allowing customers to opt for gloss-black or fully polished versions, or even the newly introduced 23-inch Super Lux wheel, available for select Bentayga models including the Artenara Edition.

A Motif Inspired by Roque Bentayga

The most defining visual signature of the Artenara Edition is its unique design motif inspired by the rugged topography surrounding the Roque Bentayga peak. This motif appears as a finely etched detail across the fascia, accompanied by the precise geographical coordinates of the landmark itself. The same pattern is recreated through laser-crafted perforations across the seat shoulder panels and door trim, transforming a geographical reference into a subtle yet striking design theme. Even the welcome lamp projection reflects this motif, casting the pattern onto the ground as occupants approach the vehicle. Additional edition-specific touches include illuminated Artenara Edition treadplates and bespoke wing vents bearing the edition typestyle alongside Mulliner’s signature double diamond pattern. Together, these details form a coherent narrative that connects the Bentayga to its namesake landscape. Rather than relying on overt branding, Bentley integrates the theme through craftsmanship and precision engineering, ensuring that the story behind the vehicle becomes an intrinsic part of the driving experience.

Eight Curated Expressions of Luxury

Central to the Artenara Edition concept is a series of eight carefully curated design themes, each combining exterior colour, interior materials and trim finishes into a harmonious whole. The recommended palette includes Beluga, Granite, Pale Brodgar, Glacier White, Sequin Blue, Dark Sapphire, Verdant and Havana. Each exterior colour is paired with a distinctive tri-colour interior configuration, a design approach previously exclusive to the Mulliner Extended Wheelbase model. For example, the Pale Brodgar specification combines Portland and Beluga leather with Linen accent hide and Piano Linen veneer, creating an atmosphere of timeless elegance. The Verdant exterior can be matched with Saddle and Camel leather complemented by Cumbrian Green accents and a Piano Cumbrian Green fascia veneer. For a more contemporary character, Sequin Blue pairs with the Blackline Specification and a dramatic interior palette of Linen main hide, Beluga secondary leather and Light Blue accents across the fascia, steering wheel spokes and embroidered Bentley wings. While these curated recommendations showcase Bentley’s design vision, customers are free to configure the Bentayga Artenara Edition according to their own preferences with assistance from the Mulliner personalization team. The result is an SUV that blends the rugged inspiration of its mountainous namesake with the unmistakable refinement of modern Bentley luxury, a new summit for the Bentayga lineage.
