BMW X3 M50 xDrive: The M Performance SUV Gains Even More Character
The BMW X3 M50 xDrive reaches a new level with the introduction of the new Black Package, an exclusive specification designed to further enhance the sporty and premium character of the M Performance SUV. Available from December 2026, this new configuration combines motorsport-inspired styling with a particularly sophisticated interior. Designed for enthusiasts of sporty premium SUVs in Switzerland, the BMW X3 M50 xDrive Black Package stands out with numerous high-gloss black exterior elements, monochrome M logos and new 22-inch Polygon 1134 M Black M light-alloy wheels. The M Sport brake callipers also feature an exclusive high-gloss black finish, further reinforcing the dynamic appearance of the BMW X3 M50.

BMW X3 Black Package: Premium Alcantara Interior
Inside, BMW further enhances the M Performance atmosphere through the extensive use of BMW Individual Alcantara. This premium material is featured on parts of the dashboard, the area in front of the central display, the smartphone tray with inductive charging, the door trims and the centre-console armrest. The specific Alcantara/Veganza seats are finished with contrasting blue stitching and piping. The specification is complemented by carbon-look trim elements, BMW Individual CraftedClarity glass applications, an exclusive M steering wheel and details in BMW M colours. The combination of high-quality materials, modern technology and motorsport-inspired design makes the BMW X3 M50 Black Package a particularly exclusive proposition in the sporty premium SUV segment.

BMW X3 M50 2026: 443 hp and 0–100 km/h in 4.4 Seconds
One of the key updates to the BMW X3 M50 xDrive also concerns its powertrain. The 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo straight-six petrol engine, combined with 48-volt mild-hybrid technology, now produces 326 kW, equivalent to 443 hp. This represents an increase of 33 kW or 45 hp. The BMW X3 M50 xDrive can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. Using BMW's additional “1-foot rollout” measurement method, the 100 km/h mark is reached in 4.1 seconds. Importantly, the performance increase applies to all BMW X3 M50 xDrive models and is not an element of the Black Package itself. The engine also meets the requirements of the Euro 7 emissions standard.

BMW X3: Updates Across the Range from December 2026
Alongside the introduction of the Black Package, the entire BMW X3 range will benefit from a series of targeted product enhancements. From December 2026, these include a new PVC Softskin surface in front of the central display, a new stitching pattern for the dashboard, ambient lighting in selected storage compartments and new details for various interior elements. For the Swiss automotive market, the BMW X3 M50 xDrive Black Package therefore combines premium SUV versatility with high-performance driving dynamics and extensive personalisation. With 443 hp, BMW xDrive all-wheel drive, 22-inch wheels and an interior strongly influenced by BMW M, this latest evolution of the X3 is aimed at drivers looking for an exclusive SUV with a distinctive sporting character.
