A clear focus on exclusivity
The BMW XM portfolio has been streamlined and now centers on two exclusive models: the BMW XM Label, powered by a strong V8 hybrid drivetrain, and the BMW XM 50e, featuring an efficient inline six-cylinder hybrid. This reduction from three to two models reflects the brand’s commitment to combining top-tier performance with cutting-edge technology, always with the aim of offering customers the very best. The updated model range celebrated its world premiere in June 2025 during the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans, a fitting stage that symbolizes both motorsport passion and engineering excellence. In parallel, BMW M Motorsport is competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) with the BMW M Hybrid V8. In addition to its impressive performance, the BMW XM is distinguished by its uncompromising exclusivity. Its luxurious, expressive design makes it a true standout in the premium segment. This sense of extravagance also finds artistic expression: in collaboration with British DJ Carl Cox, a unique sound art project was created, transforming original vehicle sounds – from the deep V8 rumble to the closing click of the bonnet – into an audible homage to BMW M, available to experience on the brand’s official website. Pricing for the BMW XM Label starts at €183,400, while the BMW XM 50e begins at €133,800 (in Germany).

The most powerful of its kind
The BMW XM Label is the most powerful model in the range, driven by the M HYBRID system that combines a 430 kW (585 PS) V8 petrol engine with a 145 kW (197 PS) electric motor. The system delivers a total output of 550 kW (748 PS) and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm. This enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 s. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h but can be increased to 290 km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package. The BMW XM Label has a combined energy consumption of 33.7 kWh and 2.3 l of fuel per 100 km, or 12.8 l/100 km when the battery is empty. It offers an electric range of up to 76 km. The BMW XM 50e, featuring its unchanged inline-six plug-in hybrid powertrain, is even more efficient: 32.0 kWh and 1.6 l/100 km combined, or 11.3 l/100 km with an empty battery. The electric range is between 80 and 86 km.

New equipment options for the BMW XM Label
The BMW XM Label now comes with several design and equipment enhancements. New exterior customization options include the BMW Individual Frozen Tanzanite Blue metallic paint finish and a high-gloss black version of the M kidney grille with accent line. A newly introduced Welcome Light Animation adds visual appeal at night. Standard equipment now features 22-inch light-alloy wheels in double-spoke 922 M Bicolor design, with optional 23-inch 1096 M wheels in black available. BMW expands its range of materials and color schemes for the interior. New options include Merino leather in Night Blue, Black with Vintage Coffee Brown accents, and Silverstone with contrasting black surfaces. Matching comfort cushions are now standard across all Merino leather configurations. Another notable improvement is the increased AC charging capacity of the M HYBRID system, which now allows charging at up to 11 kW for greater efficiency and convenience.
