Highly exclusive special model for the film F1
To coincide with the release of “F1 - THE MOVIE”, Mercedes-AMG is presenting a strictly limited special model at the Miami Grand Prix: the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ “APXGP Edition”. Only 52 units of this exclusive vehicle, which stands out with its highly dynamic performance and film-related design accents, will be produced worldwide. The Hollywood film with its top-class cast will celebrate its premiere in summer 2025. The production combines authentic Formula 1 racing scenes filmed on real Grand Prix weekends with an exciting fictional plot. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the film stars Brad Pitt and Damson Idris. It is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton, among others. As the official promotional partner, Mercedes-AMG is contributing a high level of technical expertise and exclusive vehicle models to the project. In addition to the racetrack cars, further models can be seen, including an SL, a G-Class and a GT, as well as the Mercedes-AMG Official FIA F1 Safety Car and Medical Car in action. The international release is scheduled for June 25, 2025.

With the exclusive APXGP Edition, we combine the thrill of AMG with the cinematic masterpiece F1,” explained Michael Schiebe, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMG GmbH and Head of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class & Mercedes-Maybach divisions, at the launch of this special edition. The Coupé is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine with 430 kW (585 PS), which transfers its power to the road via the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system. The AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with semi-active roll stabilization, rear-axle steering as standard and active aerodynamics ensure maximum driving stability and agility.

The Mercedes-AMG GT “APXGP Edition” impresses with an exclusive design concept that is consistently based on the aesthetics of the fictitious APXGP racing team, both inside and out. The special paint finish with colored accents in Racegold – on the grille, fenders in checkered flag layout, side sills, rear apron and diffuser – ensures a striking appearance. The exterior is complemented by matt Racegold 21-inch AMG forged wheels in cross-spoke design and a high-performance ceramic brake system with black brake callipers. Further visual highlights include the AMG Exterior Carbon Package, the panoramic glass roof, the Aerodynamics package with fixed rear wing, black chrome details from the Night Package II and the AMG fuel cap in Silver chrome. The exclusive design continues in the interior: black AMG Performance seats in Nappa leather and MICROCUT microfiber are finished with gold-colored topstitching. Trim elements in carbon with gold-colored threads, a microfibre-covered performance steering wheel with Racegold topstitching and MANUFAKTUR door sill trims in Black anodized with gold-colored lighting underline the luxurious motorsport character. A “Limited Edition 1 of 52” emblem adorns the center console. The “APXGP Edition” is also comprehensively equipped technically: The Burmester High End 3D Surround Sound System with 15 loudspeakers and 1,170 watts of power ensures audiophile enjoyment. The assistance systems include a 360° camera, a Driving Assist package and a head-up display. AMG TRACK PACE supports the analysis of racetrack data, while comfort features such as the lift system on the front axle, ambient lighting, the ENERGIZING Package Plus and Air Control enhance driving comfort on long journeys. A tailor-made AMG Indoor Car Cover is included to protect the vehicle at home.
