Craftsmanship from Bavaria

With the Bovensiepen Zagato, the Bovensiepen brand presents its first model, a statement of style, performance, and craftsmanshipIn close collaboration with the traditional Milanese design studio Zagato, a Gran Turismo has been created that combines Bavarian engineering expertise with sensual Italian design passion. The Bovensiepen Zagato celebrated its official premiere at the exclusive Fuori Concorso on Lake Como – the perfect setting for an automobile designed to embody emotion, elegance, and precision in every detail. Though new to the exclusive vehicle segment, Bovensiepen draws on a legacy of engineering expertise. True to the guiding principle of “Fine Driving”, exceptional automobiles are created in Buchloe, Bavaria, which impress with their masterful engineering and perfect design. Production is carried out entirely by hand by experienced specialists under the direction of Andreas and Florian Bovensiepen, who represent the third generation in the company. The highest standards of quality, individuality, and technical excellence characterize every model. The collaboration with Zagato adds a distinctive aesthetic signature, uniting two automotive cultures at the highest level. “It was a team effort driven by the excitement of the project – the idea of launching the first car of a new luxurious brand – and the fact that we were bringing together the DNA of two families.... When you combine two DNAs, the result should be a stronger DNA,” explained Andrea Zagato, third-generation President of Zagato. Andreas Bovensiepen, CEO Bovensiepen Automobiles, added: “Our goal is to build automobiles for connoisseurs and enthusiasts who appreciate the perfect symbiosis of design and technology.” Every Bovensiepen Zagato is crafted entirely by hand, with a production time of at least 250 hours per vehicle. More than 400 custom-made precision components are used in each car, which is built as a truly unique piece tailored to the individual wishes of its owner. The first deliveries are planned for the end of the second quarter of 2026. Information on the price and number of units will be announced by the company in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The Gran Turismo with double bubble

The Bovensiepen Zagato embodies a timeless Gran Turismo design, modern and refined. Its body is made almost entirely of lightweight carbon fiber, combining dynamic lines with functional efficiency. Striking design elements such as the elongated hood, frameless and fully retractable windows, and the iconic double bubble curvature in the roof and rear window emphasize the sporty and elegant character of the vehicle. The powerful front is characterized by an expressive stainless-steel grille in combination with low-positioned headlights and striking air intakes. At the rear, a distinctive diffuser with twin titanium tailpipes clearly expresses the car’s performance capabilities. The wedge-shaped silhouette not only ensures a dramatic appearance but also optimizes the aerodynamics. It is complemented by specially developed 20-inch forged wheels, whose weight-optimized double-spoke structure offers both visual depth and technical efficiency. “It‘s a kind of mixture of Italian flair, a kind of sexy and soft design, and a German, very solid, almost architectural structure… it is a beautiful blend of these two automotive cultures, I would say,” added Norihiko Harada, Chief Designer Zagato.
